About Us
Rooster's Guide and Outfitting Adventures, LLC is a family owned and operated business. Related to the real Rooster Cogburn, played by John Wayne, our families history in Colorado goes back many generations. We look forward to sharing the wild, wild west way of hunting and vacationing adventures with you!
Hunting and fishing is both a way of life and a tradition that we have always felt a privilege to be a part of. Below is a photo gallery of some of our favorite family photos taken through generations of hunts that we hope you enjoy. We look forward to offering you, the outdoor enthusiast, the same recreational opportunities that we enjoy year around. Our staff consists of professional and experienced guides who put our customers first.
We are committed to our customers and the experience that they leave with. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. For over four generations our family has horsebacked, hiked, four wheeled, and hunted some of the same mountain trails that we still do today.
We offer a variety of packages from summertime pack-in fishing and camping trips for the whole family, including kid's survival camps to personalized hunting packages for the serious hunter. We have primitive type camps in some of the best big game habitat Western Colorado has to offer. All our guides are local, seasoned veterans with years of experience. They are professionals at spot and stalk, stand placement, and they are experienced callers. We take a limited number of hunters each year to manage our game and provide a quality hunting experience for each of our clients.
